Board Positions

President - Presides at all meetings of the Chapter and the Board of Directors; appoints the Nominating Committee, together with such other committees as the Board may deem necessary or appropriate for carrying on the activities of the Chapter; represents the membership in all IE-PSHRA and PSHRA matters. 

President Elect – Is the Chapter’s Parliamentarian, acts for the President in the President’s absence, is an ex-officio member of and acts as liaison agent for the President on all standing committees, and serves as the acting President of the Chapter in the absence of the President, or for the unexpired portion of the President's term in the event of a vacancy in the presidency. 

Past President - serves as an officer for corporate legal purposes and performs specific assignments delegated by the President.  Assist, at the President’s request, positions on the Board until field. Assists the incoming President with finalizing business from the previous term until the President Elect officially takes office.   Assists the President with any special projects/programs as requested.

Secretary - Responsible for keeping the records of the Chapter, for notifying members of Chapter elections, for initiating and maintaining Chapter correspondence of IE-PSHRA, submits required documentation to national PSHRA, and takes minutes during meeting.

Treasurer - Responsible for the receipt, custody, and disbursement of Chapter funds, subject to the control and review of the Board, including preparing and submission of all budget and financial reporting. 

VP – Public Relations - Responsible for maintaining a current membership list; for compiling, editing, and distributing a periodic newsletter and notifying members of monthly meetings, and for communications activities such as news releases to the media, develop and implement social media, work collaboratively with PSHRA and other organizations on joint promotions, and develop and maintain the Chapter’s website.

VP – Membership - Responsible for the membership roster and materials, such as application brochures, for the solicitation of renewals of membership when in an arrears and for the presentation of recommendations for membership to the Board of Directors.

VP – Programs - Responsible for planning all regular meetings and chapter training programs for IEPSHRA, making the necessary arrangements and obtaining program participants and trainers, encouraging Chapter to develop trainers and/or conduct Competencies. Works collaboratively with the VP – Public Relations to publicize upcoming programs and activities.
